Plans are now underway for the 29th annual Newmarket Voice Festival which will take place February 16-20, 2027 at The Old Town Hall in Newmarket. The Concert of the Stars will be held on Friday, February 26, 2027 at 7:30 p.m. at The Old Town Hall. The Festival continues to offer categories in Classical Voice, Musical Theatre, Popular Voice, Speech Arts and Drama, and Songs From The Screen And More!
The NVF Committee is proud to feature talented local singers and actors, and to provide them with the opportunity to perform and to receive valuable and encouraging feedback from our wonderful adjudicators. The festival is also fortunate to have generous donors who create scholarships for participants chosen by our adjudicators. Please consider becoming one of our donors. Every donation of $25 or more receives a tax receipt.
The Newmarket Voice Festival is a proud member festival of the OMFA (Ontario Music Festivals Association). As such, the NVF is eligible to submit three singers per category and age level, at the recommendation of the adjudicators, to represent our festival at the Provincial Finals competition held from June 14-19, 2027, in Waterloo.

Welcome to the 2027 Newmarket Voice Festival as we celebrate our 29th Anniversary!
The NVF provides a wonderful opportunity for amateur singers and actors to receive feedback from professional adjudicators on vocal technique and performing skills in an encouraging, supportive setting.
The festival offers a wide variety of vocal genres and is open to amateur soloists and small ensembles throughout Ontario. Our adjudicators always recommend a high number of our best performers to the OMFA Provincials held in June each year. Through the generosity of our donors, the festival consistently awards over $10,000 each year in scholarships. So join us for an exciting year of music-making and celebration in February 2027.
