Plans are now underway for the 28th annual Newmarket Voice Festival which will take place February 17-21, 2026 at The Old Town Hall in Newmarket. The Concert of the Stars will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. at The Old Town Hall. The Festival continues to offer categories in Classical Voice, Musical Theatre, Popular Voice, Speech Arts and Drama, and Songs From The Screen And More! The NVF Committee is proud to feature talented local singers and actors, and to provide them with the opportunity to perform and to receive valuable and encouraging feedback from our wonderful adjudicators. The festival is also fortunate to have generous donors who create scholarships for participants chosen by our adjudicators. Please consider becoming one of our donors. The Newmarket Voice Festival is a proud member festival of the OMFA (Ontario Music Festivals Association). As such, the NVF is eligible to submit three singers per category and age level, at the recommendation of the adjudicators, to represent our festival at the Provincial Finals competition held from June 8-13, 2026, in Waterloo.
In 2024, 49 singers and actors from the NVF participated in the OMFA Provincials in June (35 Live, 14 Virtual) and the NVF was #1 in the province with the highest % of placements – a reflection of the incredible talent we attract and promote!
