Plans are now underway for our 25th anniversary celebration and a joyous return to live performance!
We are excited to announce that we are moving to February! Our new dates will be February 21-25, 2023 with the Concert of the Stars on Friday, March 3, 2023!
We are also moving to the Old Town Hall in Newmarket as our new location! We are also excited to offer new categories: Popular Voice Classes and Speech Arts/Drama classes!
How thrilling it will be to feature talented local singers and actors of all ages once again, and to hear beautiful soaring voices, enthusiastic applause and encouraging feedback from our wonderful adjudicators!
As we move forward, the Newmarket Voice Festival will continue to monitor and adhere to all current public health guidelines regarding Covid-19. Our priority is to promote the health and safety of our participants, their families, our Committee and volunteers, and audience members.
The Newmarket Voice Festival is a proud member festival of the OMFA (Ontario Music Festivals Association). As such, the NVF is eligible to submit three singers per category and age level, at the recommendation of the adjudicators, to represent our festival at the Provincial Finals competition held in June, 2023.
